So your feed \u2014 if you\u2019re just logging in as yourself or on your page for the <em>Larry Elder Show<\/em>&nbsp;\u2014 then that is going be something t<\/span><span>hat\u2019ll be somewhat tailored to you, though again, they\u2019re tricky with that. The news tab is something that they put out [framed as] the biggest stories going on, and they\u2019re favoring the establishment media.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Marlow recalled a recent report from the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/facebook-ai-enforce-rules-engineers-doubtful-artificial-intelligence-11634338184\">revealing<\/a> Facebook\u2019s suppression of Breitbart News\u2019s reach across its platform via algorithmic manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cT<span>he <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> put out an article that I believe was designed to sort of be a hit piece on Breitbart, but it turned out to reveal that&nbsp;<\/span>Facebook had diminished our traffic by 20 percent,\u201d he remarked. \u201cIn the meantime, they\u2019re boosting other people\u2019s traffic just simply by changing their algorithms to take away the content their own users want.&nbsp;Just remember that. They were engaging with Breitbart\u2019s content, and they had to change the algorithm to diminish us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Larry Elder Discusses Breitbart Being Banned and Google Controlling Media\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ADAedLGPEBg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Marlow said Breitbart News experienced the most significant reduction in traffic on Facebook relative to other conservative news media outlets following the technology giant\u2019s recent change to its algorithms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re regarded as the biggest threat to the establishment, for whatever reason, which I\u2019m quite proud of,\u201d he said of Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p><span>He said, \u201cI do believe that there\u2019s a role for breaking up some of these companies when they get too big.
