Mo Brooks (R-AL) is introducing a measure on Thursday to stop President Joe Biden\u2019s coercive coronavirus vaccine mandate, prohibiting the government from using federal funds to \u201cestablish, implement, or enforce any vaccine mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brooks\u2019s legislation, the Defund Federal Vaccine Mandates Act, is a one-sentence bill, which simply <a href=\"https:\/\/brooks.house.gov\/sites\/brooks.house.gov\/files\/BROOKS_057_xml.pdf\">states<\/a> that \u201cno Federal funds may be used to establish, implement, or enforce any vaccine mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cEvery single American should have the ability to make the best decision for them and their own health, without fear of losing their livelihood. The Socialist Democrats\u2019 pipe dream of discriminating based on vaccination status is wholly un-American,\u201d he said, adding that it is time for the American people to know who is willing to defend the Constitution and individual liberty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongress needs to be put on record on where they stand on this issue. I refuse to idly sit by as people lose their jobs and America becomes a scene straight out of 1984,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Brooks\u2019s proposal coincides with the release of the Occupational Safety and Public Health\u2019s (OSHA) emergency temporary standard (EMS), which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/joe-biden-administration-warns-of-planned-inspections-and-136532-fines-to-enforce-coronavirus-vaccine-mandate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requires<\/a> employers with more than 100 employees to \u201cmaintain a roster of each employee\u2019s vaccination status\u201d and enforce weekly testing requirements for unvaccinated workers. The rule, which involves \u201cplanned inspections,\u201d goes into effect January 4, and those who fail to adhere will face fines beginning at $14,000 per violation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
