Wednesday, he called the plan \u201cgarbage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His remarks came after reports circulated that his administration planned to pay taxpayer money to illegal immigrants separated from their families at the border under the Trump administration. When asked if his plan would incentivize illegal immigrants, Biden said \u201cyes\u201d if it were true but it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Pure insanity.
