Mike Braun (R) takes the lead to challenge Joe Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate for businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Braun led an official challenge against the federal vaccine mandate for businesses across the nation, a law he said is a \u201cvast overstep of authority by the federal government.\u201d Backed by 40 other Senate Republicans, Braun announced the initiative Wednesday in D.C., asking all his fellow senators to join him in disapproving and nullifying Biden\u2019s vaccine mandate under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gao.gov\/legal\/other-legal-work\/congressional-review-act\">Congressional Review Act<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The vaccinated businessman said he believes getting the shot should be a personal medical decision for every American and hopes this action will help protect the liberties of millions of Americans in the private sector workforce.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Senator Braun leads challenge to Biden vax mandate for businesses\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NFbxgzSJ68Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan (R) voiced his concern over the unfavorable law after encouraging businesses not to terminate employees who refuse to comply with the order.
