Pennsylvania\u2019s Judicial Victories&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Republican Kevin Brobson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotlightpa.org\/news\/2021\/11\/election-results-2021-pennsylvania-supreme-court-candidates\/\">defeated<\/a> Democrat Maria McLaughlin for a position on Pennsylvania\u2019s highest court with about 52 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n<p>The win will maintain the composition of the states\u2019 court. The victory is important because in 2022, the court will weigh cases on election integrity, state redistricting, and abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Former Pennsylvania deputy attorney general Megan Sullivan also defeat Democrat Timika Lane for a spot on the appellate court, which hears cases on civil and criminal appeals.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Attorney Stacy Wallace won her race for the Commonwealth Court, where suits involving state agencies are heard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Republicans Flip Texas State House Seat 118<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Republican John Lujan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/03\/us\/elections\/john-lujan-san-antonio-house.html\">reclaimed<\/a> the special election runoff for Texas House District 118. The district is Democrat leaning on the south side of San Antonio with a large amount of Latino voters.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Biden won the district by 14 points. Lujan flipped the seat by 300 votes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">\u201cThis speaks loudly that people are concerned about conservative values,\u201d Lujan said about his victory. \u201cYou know, we want to secure our border, we want to grow our economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\"><strong>3. Minneapolis Votes \u201cNo\u201d on Abolishing Police<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abolishing police, a measure Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/minneapolis-votes-no-abolish-police-despite-ilhan-omar\/\">pushed<\/a> to enact, was defeated Tuesday in Minneapolis. According to Fox 9, the measure would have removed the Minneapolis Police Department and&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fox9.com\/news\/minneapolis-police-ballot-question-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">replaced<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cit with a Department of Public Safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.5438596491228\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">ICYMI: &#8216;Squad&#8217; member Ilhan Omar was mad that police were not policing, despite calling for abolishing them. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Rr1SijyQWl\">pic.twitter.com\/Rr1SijyQWl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 MRCTV (@mrctv) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mrctv\/status\/1454844362274246658?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 31, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The policy also would have terminated the police chief position, along with a minimum police staffing requirement. The win is considered a sound rejection of the radical Democrats\u2019 demand to defund police departments across the county.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. New Hampshire Mayoral Flip<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Paul Callaghan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/new-hampshire-republicans-flip-mayoral-seat-in-city-that-voted-democrat-since-2005\/\">won<\/a> the mayoral race in Rochester, New Hampshire, which has voted Democrat since 2005.&nbsp;Callaghan won by a huge percentage of the vote, 2,845 to 1,399 in real numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Callaghan campaigned on revising the local budget, increasing the local housing supply, and economically developing the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to Mayor-Elect Paul Callaghan on of his resounding victory tonight, with 66% of the vote,\u201d the New Hampshire Republican Party stated Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><b>5. Trump-Endorsed&nbsp;Republican Won Ohio State Seat 15<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As a candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/republicans-rejoice-ohio-win-ohio-voters-resoundingly-rejected-democrats-socialist-agenda\/\">supported<\/a> by Donald Trump,&nbsp;Representative-elect Mike Carey defeated&nbsp;state Rep. Virginia\u2019s Lieutenant Governor-Elect Makes History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Virginia\u2019s Lieutenant Governor-elect Winsome Sears, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/the-cavalry-has-arrived-lieutenant-governor-elect-winsome-sears-makes-victory-speech\/\">made<\/a> history Tuesday by becoming the&nbsp;first black woman to hold office statewide. She defeated Democrat Hala Ayala (D), a member of the state\u2019s legislature.<\/p>\n<p>Upon the monumental win,&nbsp;Sears gave a rousing speech, which CNN and MSNBC apparently ignored.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can live where we want, we can eat where we want. We own the water fountains\u2026 I am living proof. Herring with 95 percent of the vote counted on Wednesday. In his victory speech, Miyares said he was \u201chumbled and honored\u201d to become the first state\u2019s top elected Latino lawyer. Local New York State Seats Flipped<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A&nbsp;Southern Brooklyn, New York City Council seat that was long held by Democrats was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brooklynpaper.com\/republican-inna-vernikov-wins-south-bk-council-seat-amid-republican-resurgence-in-the-city\/\">flipped<\/a> by Inna Vernikov,&nbsp;a divorce attorney who won with about a 28 point margin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">The <em>New York Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/03\/nyregion\/republican-election-results-new-york.html\">reported<\/a> two \u201cother Democratic seats nearby still hung in the balance on Wednesday morning, including a race where the incumbent, a likely candidate for Council speaker, was trailing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">Democrats in&nbsp;Long Island also incurred \u201cstaggering losses up and down the ballot.\u201d And in Buffalo\u2019s Mayor race, India Walton, \u201cone confident democratic socialist,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/buffalonews.com\/elections\/analysis-walton-failed-to-broaden-support-beyond-her-primary-base\/article_6f253a5a-3c3e-11ec-937d-d76447cd2360.html\">lost<\/a> to a moderate Democrat who had Republican support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\"><strong>9. Republicans Flip Virginia\u2019s House of Delegates&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Virginia Republicans&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/republicans-take-back-control-virginia-house-statewide-upset\/\">reclaimed<\/a>&nbsp;control of Virginia\u2019s State House by at least one vote. Hispanics Turned Out for Republicans&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to a Fox News exit poll, 54 percent of Hispanic voters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/02\/virginia-exit-poll-youngkin-wins-big-hispanic-voters\/\">supported<\/a>&nbsp;Glenn Youngkin for governor of Virginia and only 45 percent&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/richmond.com\/news\/state-and-regional\/virginia-is-growing-more-diverse-population-growth-reserved-for-urban-and-suburban-areas\/article_5176176f-7d62-54b2-940c-1ecc7dbc4f23.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">voted<\/a>&nbsp;for Terry McAuliffe.<\/p>\n<p>Biden won the majority of the Hispanic vote in 2020 and overall by ten points statewide in Virginia.&nbsp;Youngkin\u2019s success with Hispanic voters was an improvement over Donald Trump\u2019s significant inroads.<\/p>\n<p>Chair of \u201cLatinos for Youngkin\u201d outreach effort<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2021\/10\/23\/virginia-latino-vote-governor-election\/\"> told <\/a>the <em>Washington Post<\/em> that&nbsp;\u201cmany Hispanics who fled their countries fled for those same reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s really resonating with the Hispanic community is that you can realize the American Dream if you work hard and apply yourself and you are dedicated,\u201d The chairman explained.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Republicans Flipped Virginia\u2019s Governorship&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Republicans had lost every statewide race in Virginia since 2009, along with the previous presidential elections. With momentum increasing until the very end, Youngkin was able to win over parents who were concerned about Critical Race Theory being taught in schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>12.
