China has warned it will reunify Taiwan by force if necessary. (Republic of China Ministry of National Defense via AP, File)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI think all Americans, whatever our view is, we should want to be able to chart our future for ourselves,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Colby told Breitbart News he does not think the Biden Pentagon is doing enough to deter China from moving militarily against Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think they\u2019re focused on China and they\u2019re doing a lot of the right things, but there\u2019s not the urgency and the focus on the potential for war in the relative near-term,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He called China\u2019s recent hypersonic missile launch \u201cextremely sobering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to Gen.
