(AP Photo\/Sebastian Scheiner)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 8:21 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, November 2, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>The White House is preparing to acquire enough coronavirus vaccines for every child in the U.S. On Monday, White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zients said they have ordered 28 million child doses for all American children aged five-to-11.<\/p>\n<p>Zients said that while waiting for the CDC to give its final approval, they wanted to secure the doses in order to start distribution as soon as approval is granted. They are expecting the first shipments of the vials to get to pediatric hospitals and doctors\u2019 offices over the next couple days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the next couple of days, several million doses will start arriving at local pediatricians and family doctors\u2019 offices, pharmacies, children\u2019s hospitals, community health centers, rural health clinics and other locations,\u201d Zients confirmed. \u201cMore doses will be packed and shipped and delivered each and every day over the next week or so, and more and more sites will come online as we ramp up.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Vaccines for children have arrived!
