An award of back pay or reinstatement cannot undo a vaccine. Nothing can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The judge added that it was his \u201cintention is to enter to narrowest possible order to preserve the unions\u2019 right to a meaningful arbitration.&nbsp;The balance of the City\u2019s vaccination policy remains fully in effect, including the reporting and testing obligations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrat Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot defiantly downplayed the ruling, stressing that the \u201cmandate continues\u201d and she\u2019s focused on \u201csaving peoples\u2019 lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"EMI3ZQ\">\u201cThe mandate continues,\u201d Lightfoot said, according to the Sun-Times. \u201cOur lawyers are looking at the judge\u2019s ruling. They\u2019re looking at what our legal options are.
