Marjorie Taylor Green has received twenty fines totaling $48,000 due to violating House mask rules, according to a letter sent to the congresswoman by Sergeant at Arms William Walker and shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Walker sent a letter to Greene dated Oct. 28 informing her that she had received a $500 fine on May 19 for not wearing a mask in the Hall of the House of Representatives, and a $2,500 fine for 19 subsequent violations, totaling $48,000. Walker wrote that he would be notifying the House Ethics Committee along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who had <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/19\/brett-giroir-nancy-pelosi-house-mask-rule\/\">issued<\/a>&nbsp;a rule mandating masks for House lawmakers in May.<\/p>\n<p>House Ethics Committee Chairman Ted Deutch and Ranking Member Jackie Walorski published a <a href=\"https:\/\/ethics.house.gov\/sites\/ethics.house.gov\/files\/documents\/Press%20Release_220.pdf\">notice<\/a> Monday informing Greene she was required to pay fines for four separate incidents in late September in which the congresswoman violated the House\u2019s mask rules and did not appeal the violations.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7312511\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"33\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7312511\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi holds her weekly news conference in the Capitol on October 28. (Samuel Corum\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>When reached for comment, Greene called the mask policy \u201coutrageous and unconstitutional\u201d and said she would continue to disobey the House rule. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/10\/marjorie-taylor-greene-covid-19-vaccine-twitter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Marjorie Taylor Greene Suspended From Twitter Over Vaccine Claims)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will continue my stand on the House floor against authoritarian Democrat mandates, because I don\u2019t want the American people to stand alone,\u201d Greene told the DCNF.<\/p>\n<p>The House Ethics Committee also published a <a href=\"https:\/\/ethics.house.gov\/press-releases\/statement-chairman-and-ranking-member-committee-ethics-regarding-representative-37\">notice<\/a> Monday informing Georgia Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde that he was required to pay fines for three mask violations in late September. Clyde\u2019s office did not immediately respond to the DCNF\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Both Greene and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/09\/rep-clyde-im-fighting-back-against-pelosis-unconstitutional-metal-detectors\/\">Clyde<\/a>&nbsp;have been outspoken critics of Pelosi\u2019s House rules, with Green in particular repeatedly <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/21\/nadler-interrupts-garland-hearing-scold-republicans-no-masks\/\">flouting<\/a>&nbsp;the body\u2019s mask mandates.
