Biden\u2019s rating among likely Virginia voters is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2021\/10\/29\/virginia-governors-race-poll\/?itid=lk_inline_manual_9\">underwater<\/a>, with only 46 percent approving and 53 percent disapproving.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Just one year ago, Biden won Virginia by ten percentage points. If Republicans win the Virginia governorship Tuesday, it would be a sound rejection of Biden\u2019s massive&nbsp;radical tax-and-spend agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia voter&nbsp;Eutopia Hall, a nursing assistant, told the <em>Post<\/em>&nbsp;Virginians have lost \u201cfaith\u201d in Biden because the nation is more divided now than in 2020. \u201cI think it\u2019s more of a bigger division than it was before,\u201d she said. \u201cI thought it was gonna get better once the vaccines came out because,\u201d she continued, but \u201cnothing has changed and we\u2019re just stuck in the same place.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.2511210762332\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The third quarter was forecast to see strong growth and falling inflation. Instead, we got high inflation and the pace of economic growth crashed.  <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/EbFuNfgJlX\">https:\/\/t.co\/EbFuNfgJlX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1453452668920287234?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 27, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Tia Scott from Norfolk told the publication her family is suffering from inflation that has risen during the Biden presidency. \u201cThe cost of living has been high, the cost of food is going up, and gas prices too, and jobs are still laying off people,\u201d explained&nbsp;Scott, who previously voted for Biden but has been disappointed by the president\u2019s broken promises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font--article-body font-copy gray-darkest ma-0 pb-md\">\u201cIt seems like it was all talk,\u201d she said. \u201cNow I see all the ads were just ads. Just because you say you can do all that stuff on an ad doesn\u2019t mean you can do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Al Riutort, a retired city planner from Newport News and a likely McAuliffe voter, described his frustration that Biden is \u201ctrying to play nice\u201d and unable to push his own agenda into law, which is \u201cgoing to hurt McAuliffe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s hurting him,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think the Democrats not being able to move forward with some important bills is really hurting him and it\u2019s going to hurt McAuliffe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was telling my wife, I said, you know, why is it that you know, that two senators, the one from West Virginia and the one from Arizona, how can they have&nbsp;so much leverage&nbsp;over him? But the race is still within the margin of error. It will likely be decided by turnout energized by enthusiasm.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans seem to have the wind at their backs heading into the last day of the campaign.
