When it came to the statement \u201cPresident Biden is mentally sharp,\u201d 50.2% of respondents said they disagreed, while 42.3% <a href=\"https:\/\/tippinsights.com\/i-i-tipp-poll-just-42-now-think-biden-is-mentally-sharp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said they agreed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted from Oct. 27-29 and has a margin of error of 2.8 points.<\/p>\n<p>The poll appears to line up with a late September poll from Fox News that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/20\/biden-america-mental-fitness-president\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">showed less than half of Americans<\/a> believe Biden is mentally fit enough to serve as president. Confidence in Biden\u2019s mental fitness has continuously&nbsp; dropped since July, when only 39% of Americans said he was mentally unfit. Just 49% of respondents to Fox\u2019s September poll <a href=\"https:\/\/static.foxnews.com\/foxnews.com\/content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Fox_September-12-15_National_Topline_September-19-Release.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">were confident that Biden is mentally fit enough<\/a> to serve as president, while 48% stated he is not. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/23\/joe-biden-saule-omarova-treasury-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Biden\u2019s Pick For Banking Regulator Once Praised Former Soviet Union For Having \u2018No Gender Pay Gap\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7296988\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"34\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7296988\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">US Vice President Joe Biden holds back tears while talking about his friend, Senator Edward Kennedy. Fully 58% of Independents in the poll stated that Biden is not mentally sharp, while 34% argued he is. A majority of female respondents, 51%, also stated he is not mentally sharp, while 40% said he is.<\/p>\n<p>America\u2019s apparent falling confidence in Biden&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/16\/joe-biden-poll-approval-rating-reuters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">has also manifested in his approval rating<\/a>, which has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/02\/biden-approval-rating-poll-npr-pbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">continued to fall<\/a> since June. A Quinnipiac University poll <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/19\/joe-biden-approval-rating-covid-19-afghanistan-quinnipiac\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">put the president at just 37%<\/a> approval on October 19, a steep drop from the 54% approval he enjoyed when he entered office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden fares even worse among married women, only 36 percent of whom think he is mentally sharp compared with 58 percent who say he isn\u2019t,\u201d Tipp noted. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/31\/jen-psaki-covid-biden-test-positive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Jen Psaki Tests Positive For COVID-19, Says She Has Not Been In Contact With Biden)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s troubles began with Americans\u2019 lack of confidence in his immigration policies, and while he came into office with a high approval rating for his COVID-19 policies, less than half approved of those policies as of late September.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also took a hit thanks to his handling of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
