Give me my baby,\u2019 so I said, \u2018no don\u2019t touch baby,&#8217;\u201d Ali recalled of the incident in an interview with CBS Sacramento.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>While Ali allegedly staved off the woman and defended the baby, another Good Samaritan made his way from across the road to assist in the situation. In that time, the caretakers made their way back to the child, the video allegedly shows.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged would-be abductor then ran into the road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople stopped traffic, but she saw everybody stopping and she jumped through the traffic too, it was crazy. I didn\u2019t know what she would do with baby,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was arrested and booked on a felony charge, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The office reports she was being held on $100,000 bail, and an arraignment was scheduled for October 27.<\/p>\n<p>Rick Yadon owns a business next door to Ali\u2019s and called the alleged incident \u201cabnormal behavior,\u201d when speaking with CBS Sacramento and suggested there are problems in the area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey do things that don\u2019t make sense to us and that\u2019s just another extension of that happening,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Ali told CBS Sacramento that he does not perceive himself to be a hero.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying I\u2019m the hero, I tried my best. This is like: we are human, you know. We have to save everyone. If you see something wrong, at least you have to try,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI try my best,\u201d Ali <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc10.com\/article\/news\/local\/sacramento\/car-shop-owner-thwarts-kidnapping-attempt-sacramento\/103-470f833f-42d2-4043-bdb8-b14dd31f5ac4\">told<\/a> ABC 10. \u201cWe are human.
