The players at the \u201ccombine\u201d then leave the NFL field and enter a mid-1800\u2019s slave auction where white landowners examine slaves for purchase.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>In the scene, Kaepernick says this is how \u201cthey\u201d establish a \u201cpower dynamic.\u201d The scene closes with the NFL coach and slave auctioneer shaking hands against the backdrop of bonded slaves, in an attempt to establish a generational link between the professional athlete selection process and slavery.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"10.187050359712\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Colin Kaepernick compares the NFL combine, which allows all players of all races a voluntary chance to become multi-millionaires, to slavery. You know, things like NFL players <em>choosing<\/em> to be a part of the combine process instead of being captured and sold. There\u2019s the fact they\u2019re free to go any time they want, unlike slaves. NFL prospects are not whipped or beaten into submission.
