Version: 4.0.47--><p><b>Joe Biden Is All About the Reset<\/b><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here at Breitbart News, there\u2019s been much written about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/the-great-reset\/\">Great Reset<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>That\u2019s the notion, first emanating from arch-globalist Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum (also known as Davos), that the planet\u2019s economy, society, and culture need a thorough Reset.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>You know, a Reset in favor of more planetary regulation and regimentation, as directed by woke overlords such as Schwab. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>At the moment, the hub of the Great Reset is the COP-26 climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>If you\u2019re curious about this nest of Resetters and have a private jet, you can hop over and see it for yourself.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>But for those who you don\u2019t have an airplane, or the inclination, at least there\u2019s Breitbart News\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/cop26\/\">extensive coverage<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Okay, so the Great Reset might not sit well with you, dear reader.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>And yet for its part, Biden administration is fully on board.<\/p>\n<p>To be sure, the Biden folks are having a hard time getting their agenda enacted by Congress.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>And yet they are zipping along with what they can do by unilateral executive action.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>In fact, the Bidenites are doing exactly what Barack Obama did seven years ago when he found his presidency stymied by Congress: operate by \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2015\/04\/01\/exclusive-ted-cruz-my-first-act-as-president-will-be-to-undo-obamas-unconstitutional-executive-orders\/\">pen and phone<\/a>.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Thus, the Great Reset is coming to the U.S. piece by piece, one unilateral dictate at a time.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_18535666\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"37\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18535666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/AP21025646646363-1.jpg\" alt width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">President Joe Biden signs an Executive Order reversing the Trump era ban on transgender individuals serving in military, in the Oval Office of the White House on Jan. 25, 2021, just five days after his inauguration. Resetters have a <i>comprehensive vision of societal transformation<\/i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>To that end, just on October 27, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced the appointment of what ought to be called a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/26\/biden-treasury-adds-counselor-address-alleged-systemic-racism-economy\/\">systemic racism czar<\/a>,\u201d whose mission is to a develop a \u201cmulti-pronged strategy by the Biden administration to deal with systemic racism found in many parts of the economy.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>We can observe that nobody in Congress\u2014at least no majority\u2014approved of the creation of such a post, with powers and scope to be determined. The Bidenites simply up and did it.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>That\u2019s how they roll.<\/p>\n<p>Yet perhaps nowhere is the Biden administration attempting to do more by executive fiat than in the areas of <i>gender and transgender activism<\/i>. (ANDREW CABALLERO-REYNOLDS\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>And so the baton of Great <i>Sexual<\/i> Reset has been passed to <i>un<\/i>-elected Democrats within the Biden administration.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>In fact, all this year, the Bidenites have been issuing avant-garde decrees that have mostly flown under the MSM radar. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Of course, a few resolute souls have been blowing the whistle on this stealthy game.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Back on January 21, 2021, author Abigail Shrier, a brave critic of transgender mania, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AbigailShrier\/status\/1352121732723666946?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1352121732723666946%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2020-election\/2021\/01\/21\/bidens-executive-order-transgender-rights-unilaterally-eviscerates-womens-sports\/\">tweeted<\/a>:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;\u201c<\/span>On day 1, Biden unilaterally eviscerates women\u2019s sports.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Any educational institution that receives federal funding must admit biologically-male athletes to women\u2019s teams, women\u2019s scholarships, etc.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>A new glass ceiling was just placed over girls.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"12.299065420561\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On day 1, Biden unilaterally eviscerates women&#8217;s sports. (AP Photo\/Thomas Peipert)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>The Gender Strategy Is a Gift to Republicans<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Yet perhaps the best single indicator of Bidenic Sexual Resetting can be found in the administration\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/National-Strategy-on-Gender-Equity-and-Equality.pdf\">National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality<\/a>, a 42-page document released on October 22 by the White House\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/gpc\/\">Gender Policy Council<\/a>. (Perhaps you didn\u2019t know there was such a thing\u2014but are you surprised?)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Gender Strategy document is explicit in seeking to advance the Biden agenda through the prism of gender issues\u2014and to escalate from there.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>As it states, \u201cBuilding back better requires not just policy reform, but also a shift in the social and cultural norms that undermine gender equity and equality.\u201d <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>We can pause now and see some big ambition: You see, the goal is not just progressive policy, but also shifting \u201csocial and cultural norms that undermine gender equity and equality.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>In other words, it\u2019s the Great Reset. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the Gender Strategy is emphatic about Resetting: \u201cThis kind of structural change is urgently needed.\u201d By now, is the reader perhaps thinking that he or she might be a guinea pig?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>For the Resetting that They have in mind?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For sure, the Biden folks see the urgency of Their situation; as They declare, America faces \u201cthe most significant reckoning over racial justice since the 1960s, and witnesses grave threats to reproductive rights and voting rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amidst all this prog boilerplate, we can note the emergence of a relatively new word in the lefty lexicon, \u201cequity.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>That word appears in the Gender Strategy document no less than <i>123 times.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>And no, we\u2019re not talking about <i>home<\/i> equity, or <i>sweat<\/i> equity, or any sort of equity that involves thrift, work, or anything like that. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It seems that the old word, \u201cequality,\u201d isn\u2019t good enough for the left anymore.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>And why not?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Because \u201cequality\u201d is too closely associated with \u201cequal opportunity,\u201d which is out of fashion with the progs, who lust not just for affirmative action, not just for quotas, but for <i>actual assigned and determined outcomes<\/i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>(Guess who makes the assignments and the determinations.) <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the prog-left mind, equal opportunity can lead to <i>un<\/i>equal outcomes (because people, in their various ways, have unequal characteristics), and so the new preferred word is \u201cequity,\u201d which means that <i>everybody gets the same thing, no matter what.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/i>This might strike some as \u201ce\u201d-word wordplay, and yet the left is serious about this distinction, as seen in <a href=\"https:\/\/interactioninstitute.org\/illustrating-equality-vs-equity\/\">this illustration<\/a>:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18534834\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"33\"><a href=\"https:\/\/interactioninstitute.org\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18534834\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IISC_EqualityEquity.png\" alt width=\"1460\" height=\"1094\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">(Image courtesy of the Interaction Institute for Social Change | Artist: Angus Maguire. Source: interactioninstitute.org and madewithangus.com)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>And the Gender Strategy is right there on the cutting edge:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"24\">\n<p>By equity, we refer to the consistent and systematic fair, just, and impartial treatment of all individuals, including those who belong to underserved communities that have been denied such treatment, such as women and girls; Black, Latino, and Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, and other persons of color; members of religious minorities; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) persons; persons with disabilities; persons who live in rural areas; and persons otherwise adversely affected by persistent poverty or inequality.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One might skim through this list and wonder: In this long litany of victims deserving of special treatment, who\u2019s left out?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>And the answer, of course, is <i>straight white males<\/i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>(But you knew that.)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It should be no surprise that the Gender Strategy has been ridiculed by leaders on the right: Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TomCottonAR\/status\/1452421847283343360\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cThe White House has no interest in solving inflation, the border, or rising gas prices.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>But plenty of time for a 42-page \u2018National Gender Strategy\u2019 with an \u2018intersectional\u2019 focus on climate change.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Cotton <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TomCottonAR\/status\/1452426146092552200\">added<\/a>, \u201cThis \u2018strategy\u2019 reads like a parody of a gender studies Ph.D. thesis.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Cotton intended that as an insult, and yet we might wonder if the authors\u2014the principal author is presumably <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jennifer-klein-5433387\/\">Jennifer Klein<\/a>, co-chair and executive director of the White House Gender Policy Council\u2014took it that way. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of parody, Conn Carroll of <i>The Washington Examiner<\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/biden-released-a-national-gender-strategy-and-it-is-every-bit-as-ridiculous-as-it-sounds\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cIf the <i>Babylon Bee<\/i> had been asked to write a \u2018National Gender Strategy\u2019 to be posted on the White House\u2019s website, it wouldn\u2019t look any different than the document the Biden administration actually released last Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, some particular howlers emerge from the actual document, and here are three:<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>First<\/i>,<\/strong> the Gender Strategy praises the Biden administration for having \u201crestored America\u2019s leadership on the rights of women and girls on the world stage.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>This restoration of international leadership would be news to the women and girls of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Second<\/i>,<\/strong> the Gender Strategy document lauds \u201cThe transgender athlete who dreams of the chance to compete free from discrimination.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>By now, we all know that means: <i>actual girls and women to the back of the bus<\/i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>Fortunately, some Republicans, such as Gov. Gregg Abbott of Texas, are taking the trans train head on.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Abbott just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2021\/10\/26\/texas-gov-greg-abbott-signs-law-protecting-female-athletes-trans-competitors-schools\/\">signed legislation<\/a> \u201cto prohibit biological men who consider themselves \u2018transgender women\u2019 from competing against biological female athletes in elementary and secondary schools in the state.\u201d <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To be sure, what happens in Texas won\u2019t impress the Gender Strategists at the White House, but at least now the American people will see that they have a choice: Do they want the blue trans vision or the red tradition vision?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>(Here\u2019s guessing that a lot of Democrats representing purplish, or even red, areas are getting nervous as they think about their next election, having to defend this gender stuff on the stump.)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18535722\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"35\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18535722\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/GettyImages-1052957408.jpg\" alt width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Activists protest in support of transgender people on the steps of New York City Hall, on October 24, 2018. (Drew Angerer\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong><i>Third<\/i>,<\/strong> the Gender Strategy seeks to jump-start a prog cause that most Americans have been fleeing from: undermining the police and public safety.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>For about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2020-election\/2020\/08\/19\/pinkerton-the-return-of-the-san-francisco-democrats\/\">three months in mid-2020<\/a>, lefties thought they were winning with their anti-cop agenda. And yet then, of course, reality\u2014the reality of crime\u2014caught up with them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>In fact, a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2021\/10\/26\/growing-share-of-americans-say-they-want-more-spending-on-police-in-their-area\/\">Pew Center pol<\/a>l finds that public opinion is back to normal; by a margin of more than three to one, Americans wish to see police funding <i>increased<\/i>, not decreased. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yet apparently, nobody at the Gender Policy Council has noticed this shift in the <i>Zeitgeist.<\/i><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>And so the document sails forth with this AOC-friendly pledge: \u201cWe are also committed to increasing federal oversight and accountability for police departments and prosecutors\u2019 offices to address systemic misconduct, including gender bias and sexual misconduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But wait!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>There\u2019s more: \u201cAnd we will work to end cash bail and reform our pretrial system, recognizing the harm these processes cause, particularly for Black women and families.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>So now the Biden Genderians have really put themselves in deep water: Eliminating cash bail means, in effect, eliminating the detention of suspects prior to trial.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>That is, someone gets arrested for a crime, but is then released and told to appear for a court date sometime in the future.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>And you know what <i>that<\/i> means.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, New York State did exactly what the Biden Genderians have in mind; back in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2019_New_York_bail_reform\">2019<\/a> it did away with cash bail\u2014and turned the suspects all loose.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Once again, as night follows day, the result was predictable; sample <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/06\/02\/over-400-nyc-looters-to-be-freed-from-jail-thanks-to-bail-reform-policy\/\">headline<\/a> from Breitbart News last year: \u201cOver 400 NYC Looters to Be Freed from Jail Thanks to \u2018Bail Reform\u2019 Policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, the crime rate in New York is way up, such that even the Democrat-stacked state government has had to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themarshallproject.org\/2020\/04\/23\/in-new-york-s-bail-reform-backlash-a-cautionary-tale-for-other-states\">partially roll back<\/a> the ill-starred bail law. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yet for its part, the White House Gender Policy Council is standing by its beliefs; a look at its <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WhiteHouseGPC\">Twitter feed<\/a> shows no hint of second thoughts about the turn-\u2018em-loose policy touted in the Gender Strategy document\u2014and there\u2019s nothing, either, from the White House press secretary\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WhiteHouse\">Twitter feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So there it is: In the name of gender equity, the Biden White House wants to let criminals run free.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>One suspects that Republican opposition researchers have already taken note of this vote-losing platform.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a buzzphrase, \u201cgender equity\u201d might sound innocuous enough.
