Kemp (@GovKemp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovKemp\/status\/1454177285553238020?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 29, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Friday was the second consecutive day that a GOP-led state hit Biden with a lawsuit regarding vaccine mandates. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/28\/florida-ron-desantis-sues-biden-administration-vaccine-mandate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: Florida Sues Over Vaccine Mandate)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alabama, Idaho, Kansas, Utah, West Virginia, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster and \u201cmany federal agencies within the administration in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia (Augusta Division) joined Kemp and Carr, <a href=\"https:\/\/madmimi.com\/p\/72de031?pact=157852-165289856-13401774837-2441590c80ab95efc23e5b1bac90adbed87e02f5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/09\/biden-white-house-federal-workers-contractors-vaccine-mandate-coronavirus-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signed<\/a> an executive order Sept. 9 requiring vaccination for employees of the executive branch and contractors who do business with the federal government \u2014 with no option to test out. The same executive order also called on the Department of Labor to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/09\/joe-biden-require-private-companies-100-more-employees-mandate-vaccines-weekly-testing-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">require<\/a> all employers with over 100 workers to have them vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release from Kemp\u2019s office, \u201cthe plaintiffs are asking the court to enjoin the defendants and those acting in concert with them from enforcing the mandate on any State of Georgia federal contracting agency, subcontractor, and employee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to being an unlawful and unconstitutional overreach, this vaccine mandate on federal contractors will only further divide Americans and hamstring our economy,\u201d Kemp said in the press release.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Republican Georgia Gov.
