Terry McAuliffe (D) appeared to cancel or skip campaign events only days before Tuesday\u2019s bellwether election.<\/p>\n<p>McAuliffe, on Thursday night, did not show up for a \u201cGet Out the Vote\u201d (GOTV) event in&nbsp;Prince William County.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Instead, the candidate for&nbsp;Lieutenant Governor,&nbsp;Del.&nbsp;Hala Ayala, appeared in&nbsp;McAuliffe\u2019s place. Seth Moulton (D-MA).<\/p>\n<p>A recent poll from Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/28\/poll-republican-glenn-youngkin-ahead-of-democrat-terry-mcauliffe-by-8-points-in-virginia-governors-race\/\">revealed<\/a> that Youngkin pulled ahead of McAuliffe by eight points with the election less than a week away.&nbsp;Youngkin\u2019s momentum changed, showing him at 53 percent to 45 percent among likely voters. This was a major change from roughly two weeks ago when&nbsp;McAuliffe led by 11 points with&nbsp;likely voters,&nbsp;52-41 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Another poll from co\/efficient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/glenn-youngkin-terry-mcaulifffe-poll-lead-virginia-4-points?utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz--xc5r7ik5s6NfYw-N3_0GKji8PzAF5ymsowzifBXIJJLrqJkCTx5MCT7uybB7z5Irg9O2g\">showed<\/a>&nbsp;Youngkin in the lead as well.
