But officials have warned that, barring an approved medical or religious exemption, those who defy lawful orders to be fully immunized are subject to punishment, including possible dismissal from the service or they could be charged in the military justice system.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge now confronting Air Force leaders \u2013 how to address potential large-scale dissent in the face of a top health priority that has been deeply politicized \u2013 is a bellwether for the dilemma that\u2019s in store across the military\u2019s other services, which have staggered compliance deadlines ranging from the end of November to the middle of next summer and in some cases have experienced far greater resistance to President Joe Biden\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In August, several members of the U.S. military <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/29\/military-members-speak-out-against-vaccine-mandates-servicemembers-should-given-right-decline\/\">expressed<\/a> their concerns as the Pentagon issued the coronavirus vaccine mandate, Breitbart News reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe get a lot of pressure from our commanders \u2026 and they tell you these sob stories to heavily persuade you, and it\u2019s borderline harassment,\u201d an Air Force member said, noting how he might need to \u201crestart\u201d if the vaccine became mandatory.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pentagon mandates vaccine for military members\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wneE30ZhGWs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Marine Corps <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/25\/usmc-warns-marines-will-be-kicked-out-for-refusing-the-vaccine\/\">warned<\/a> in a message recently that Marines will be kicked out if they did not take the coronavirus vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<span class=\"hvr\">Marine<\/span> <span class=\"hvr\">Administrative<\/span> <span class=\"hvr\">Message (MARADMIN)&nbsp;<\/span>posted on the Marine Corps\u2019 website said, \u201cMarines refusing the COVID-19 vaccination, absent an approved administrative or medical exemption, religious accommodation, or pending appeal shall be processed for administrative separation [in accordance with] this MARADMIN and supporting references.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeneral Court-Martial Convening Authorities (GCMCA) retain authority to take any additional adverse administrative or disciplinary action they deem appropriate,\u201d it concluded.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d padok\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Approximately 12,000 Air Force personnel have reportedly refused orders to be vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus despite the Pentagon\u2019s mandate.
