Sean Duffy predicted Friday that President Joe Biden\u2019s sweeping Build Back Better agenda would pass \u2013 and that it would ultimately hurt his party.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/01\/sean-duffy-donald-trump-georgia-turnout-election-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duffy<\/a> joined cohost Rachel Compagno, Kayleigh McEnany, Harris Faulkner and Abby Hornacek on \u201cOutnumbered,\u201d and he argued that the infrastructure bill and the accompanying spending package were likely to pass but could backfire on the Democrats going into 2022\u2019s midterm elections.<strong> <a class=\"text-black\" href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/12\/12\/duffy-cnn-camerota-impeachment\/\">(RELATED: \u2018This Is Bad For Democrats\u2019: Sean Duffy Argues With CNN\u2019s Alisyn Camerota On Impeachment)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongressman Duffy, you\u2019ve been on the Hill, you know what a messy day it was yesterday for the Biden administration,\u201d McEnany began. \u201cI think it was the was the second-worst day of his presidency \u2013 the first being the fall of Afghanistan, the second being the fall of his domestic agenda which could still get through, but it was very messy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McEnany went on to argue that Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not appear to be in sync with regard to when and how the infrastructure bill and the reconciliation package should be brought for a vote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we have learned about the president, he\u2019s not a closer,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolitics is messy. Negotiation is messy and I don\u2019t like this but I do think Democrats are gonna get this deal done. They are going to get infrastructure done, they\u2019re gonna get the socialist Build Back Better $4 trillion bill done,\u201d Duffy replied.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to note that when Biden passed his COVID relief package earlier in the year he had been polling reasonably well \u2013 but the current packages were not generating as much support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmericans don\u2019t like big spending bills especially when they don\u2019t know what\u2019s in it and the more time they have the more they don\u2019t like it,\u201d Duffy continued, saying that passing the bill despite public disapproval could cost the Democrats in 2022. \u201cSo right now you might only have 15 House Republicans that could lose their seats. If they pass this, you\u2019re going to see 40, 50 Democrats that could lose their seats. Catastrophic for the party.
