(Photo by MANDEL NGAN\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 10:58 AM PT \u2013 Friday, October 29, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Sources from the White House said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was kicked out of a meeting by her own party.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, an anonymous Democrat staffer reported Pelosi said she was \u201cleaving anyway\u201d after Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) kicked her out of a Progressive Caucus meeting. Pelosi\u2019s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill claimed she entered and quickly left the confidential meeting to drop a letter off.<\/p>\n<p>This comes amid Pelosi\u2019s efforts to persuade progressives to sign off on the bipartisan infrastructure bill.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is false. The Speaker dropped by the CPC to listen but had to leave for an event honoring former Rep. Nita Lowey at the Library of Congress. She was in the room for approx 12 minutes. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jDatNUqPtq\">https:\/\/t.co\/jDatNUqPtq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Drew Hammill (@Drew_Hammill) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Drew_Hammill\/status\/1453815452535250944?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) also took aim at Pelosi for the Democrats\u2019 mixed messaging in Congress. McCarthy asserted Pelosi has \u201cdestroyed this institution and its ability to function.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on to add he no longer believes Democrats like Pelosi have the will to keep the House in 2022.
