Other vehicles are limited at $55,000.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/biden-praises-fords-new-electric-f-150-as-a-big-boy-in-michigan-2021-10\">praised<\/a> the electric Ford F-150 pickup effusively and even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EWbi7B_NkaA\">drove<\/a> an electric Jeep around at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>The bill would provide a tax credit for even the upper-middle class.<\/p>\n<p>The tax credit phases out for people making over $800,000 if filing a joint tax return.<\/p>\n<p>President Biden promoted his tax rebate proposal on electric vehicles in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2021\/10\/28\/remarks-by-president-biden-announcing-the-framework-for-his-build-back-better-agenda-and-bipartisan-infrastructure-bill\/\">speech<\/a> at the White House on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you buy an electric vehicle, you can go all the way across America on a \u2018single tank of gas,\u2019 figuratively speaking,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s not gas; you plug it in.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The House version of President Joe Biden\u2019s Build Back Better bill offers a tax credit for electric vehicles costing up to $74,000.
