How does it strike you when you&nbsp;see such massive publicity given&nbsp;to this story when every day in&nbsp;Chicago, the combination of&nbsp;gangs, guns, and young people&nbsp;dying is a, sadly, everyday&nbsp;occurrence, given very&nbsp;little note?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Lightfoot responded, \u201cWhat I\u2019d like to see more of&nbsp;is recognizing the human toll that is taken with the guns and violence that we\u2019re experiencing in Chicago&nbsp;and in cities across the&nbsp;country. The victims are forgotten.&nbsp;We can\u2019t forget them.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>She added, \u201cBut I\u2019d like to see the media tell&nbsp;those stories and not just report statistics like they\u2019re calling a ballgame.&nbsp;It is disheartening to victims.&nbsp;I meet with victims\u2019 groups on a&nbsp;regular basis.
