Andrew Cuomo&nbsp;in Albany City Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Misdemeanor Complaint against former Governor Andrew Cuomo has been filed in Albany City Court. As this is a sex crime, a redacted complaint will be available shortly,\u201d&nbsp;Lucian Chalfen, Director of Public Information for the&nbsp;New York State Unified Court System, said in a statement obtained by the <em>Washington Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.3189655172414\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Summons may have been erroneously issued without redactions but a misdemeanor complaint against Cuomo is now on the books, per longtime NYS courts spokesman &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QPPMXpyjuk\">https:\/\/t.co\/QPPMXpyjuk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maggieNYT\/status\/1453810559581839364?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Confirmation of the charges filed against Cuomo come after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesunion.com\/state\/article\/Criminal-summons-erroneously-issued-against-16572344.php\"><em>Times-Union<\/em><\/a> reported that a summons against the befallen Democrat were issued erroneously.&nbsp;The Albany newspaper reports that the summons was issued without&nbsp;consent from the alleged victim, Brittany Commisso, or her lawyer,&nbsp;Brian Premo.<\/p>\n<p>A copy of the complaint alleges that Cuomo committed forcible touching at his official residence in December of 2020.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAt the aforesaid date time and location the defendant Andrew M. Cuomo did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim [redacted] and into her intimate body part. Specifically, the victims (sic) left breast for the purposes of degrading and gratifying his sexual desires, all contrary to the provisions of the statute in such case made and provided,\u201d the complaint states, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/andrew-cuomo-charged-with-forcible-touching-after-criminal-probe\/3359554\/\">NBC New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo, who has denied any wrongdoing, is expected to be arrested next week, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/28\/andrew-cuomo-to-be-charged-over-alleged-groping-of-former-aide-source\/\"><em>New York Post<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-147 Component-p-0-2-138\">Cuomo resigned from office following an investigation overseen by Attorney General Letitia James that concluded he sexually harassed 11 women. Cuomo \u2014 who denies touching anyone inappropriately or intending to make suggestive comments \u2014 accused the women of exaggerating or misinterpreting his behavior.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-147 Component-p-0-2-138\">At least one woman, Lindsey Boylan, has said she intends to sue the ex-governor \u201cand his co-conspirators\u201d over their conduct. The investigation found Cuomo aides retaliated against Boylan. The former senior aide testified Cuomo touched her waist, legs and back, made inappropriate comments calling her attractive, suggested they play strip poker on a plane, and once gave her an unwanted kiss on the lips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-147 Component-p-0-2-138\">Other suits seem likely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-147 Component-p-0-2-138\">An attorney for another accuser, Charlotte Bennett, who said Cuomo asked questions about her personal life that led her to believe he was pursuing a sexual relationship with her, suggested the state has an obligation to compensate the women in order to avoid \u201ccostly and lengthy\u201d litigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Component-root-0-2-147 Component-p-0-2-138\"><em>The Associated Press contributed to this report.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A misdemeanor complaint for a sex-crime related charge was filed Thursday against disgraced former New York Gov.
