We\u2019re just not going to be able to get to the emergencies in time.\u201d<br \/>\u201cFires are going to burn longer. Heart attack victims are going to be laying on the floor longer,\u201d he added. \u201cPeople in stuck elevators are going to be stuck there for hours if not days.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bill de Blasio has mandated that all municipal employees be vaccinated by November 1 or else face unpaid leave. Ansbro told host Brian Kilmeade that the mandate has done little to spur firefighters into getting vaccinated, with a full 45 percent still not having received the shot. (AP Photo\/Richard Drew, File)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cOn Friday, when they\u2019re tallying the numbers of who complied and who didn\u2019t, they\u2019re going to be faced with a stark reality that they\u2019re going to have to close firehouses down,\u201d Ansbro said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe religious exemption is going to be held to the standard which is as per the needs of the department and the department needs you vaccinated, according to them,\u201d he added. \u201cSo they can basically waive any religious exemption, and we expect them to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ansbro further claimed that Mayor Bill de Blasio and other government agencies have failed to grasp that the coronavirus will not be going away anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not a crisis,\u201d asserted Ansbro. \u201cMonths ago, the mayor had his parade to say this is over. And if not, should they stay at home or let go?\u201d Anderson Cooper asked the president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes and yes. By the way, by the way, I waited until July to talk about mandating because I tried everything else possible,\u201d responded Biden. \u201cThe mandates are working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll this stuff about people leaving and people getting it, you have everyone from United Airlines to Spirit, all these airlines all 96, 97% of the people have gotten the vaccine. All the talk about all these folks who are going to leave the military if they\u2019re mandated. Not true.
