News\/YouGov survey released this week found.<\/p>\n<p>As the Biden Administration and public health officials continue to push for mass vaccinations, originally pitching them as the way to return to pre-pandemic life, a majority of people, including a majority of the vaccinated, are still wearing masks \u201calways\u201d or \u201cmost of the time\u201d when outside their home.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Overall, 56 percent say they do so always or most of the time. Democrats are more likely to say they wear a mask outside their home (78 percent), compared to 55 percent of independents and 35 percent of Republicans.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, the survey <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.cdn.yougov.com\/4i6a6olite\/20211021_yahoo_vaccine_tabs.pdf\">found<\/a> that fully vaccinated Americans are wearing masks at a higher rate than individuals who are not fully vaccinated. Sixty-five percent of fully vaccinated individuals say they wear a mask outside the home always or most of the time. Only 43 percent of those who are not fully vaccinated say the same. (Photo by Cindy Ord\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>That seems to coincide with the fact that the majority of Americans are worried about the effectiveness of vaccines over time, as 52 percent, overall, are \u201cworried,\u201d including 17 percent who are \u201cvery\u201d worried. Just over one-third are \u201cnot worried.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>A majority of the fully vaccinated, 57 percent,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>say they are worried about declining effectiveness as time goes on.<\/p>\n<p>The survey comes as some states, such as Illinois, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/19\/illinois-gov-pritzker-keeps-mask-mandate-in-place-as-cases-drop-in-maskless-florida\/\">reimplement<\/a> mask mandates amid a surge of cases, despite the widespread availability of the vaccines and booster shots for certain demographics.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Notably, Florida, which has never had a statewide mask mandate in place, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2021\/us\/covid-cases.html\">tied<\/a> for having the lowest daily average of coronavirus cases per capita in the United States.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The survey, taken October 19-21, 2021, among 1,704 U.S. adults, has a margin of error of +\/- 2.6 percent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The majority of those who are considered \u201cfully vaccinated\u201d are still wearing masks the bulk of the time when outside their homes, a Yahoo!
