The article comes from a self-proclaimed \u201cprank news website.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 21, Hutchins died after a prop gun held by actor Alec Baldwin discharged on the set of the film \u201cRust\u201d in New&nbsp; Mexico, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/10\/21\/us\/alec-baldwin-shooting-rust-movie.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a>. The film\u2019s director, Joel Souza, was also wounded in the incident, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of the fatal incident, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CVcAaBcgadV\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=ff2352ff-7ef3-4351-8373-458629d8df0c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">screen grab<\/a> of what appears to be an Oct. 24 news article claiming that Hutchins was working on an upcoming documentary about Hollywood pedophile rings began to gain traction on social media. \u201cFunny how \u2018certain people\u2019 die \u2018mysteriously\u2019\u2026 Coincidences everywhere you turn, right?\u201d reads the caption of one Instagram post featuring the screen grab.<\/p>\n<p>The headline appears to be connected to QAnon, a baseless conspiracy theory that, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/what-is-qanon-what-we-know-about-the-conspiracy-theory-11597694801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wall Street Journal<\/a>, posits former President Donald Trump is fighting a \u201cdeep state\u201d cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles in politics, business and Hollywood. There is, however, no evidence Hutchins was involved with such a documentary.<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact didn\u2019t find any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=halyna+hutchins+next+movie&amp;oq=halyna+hut&amp;aqs=chrome.0.69i59j46i324j69i57j0i324l2j69i60l2j69i61.1551j0j7&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">credible news reports<\/a> about Hutchins being involved in a future documentary about Hollywood pedophiles. Hutchins also hadn\u2019t posted about a project to that effect on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/halyna.hutchins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/halynahutchins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram accounts<\/a>.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/10\/25\/fact-check-fox-news-alec-baldwin-ranting-donald-trump-shooting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: FACT CHECK: Did Fox News Report Alec Baldwin Was Ranting About Trump When He Shot His Co-Worker?)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A keyword search revealed the screen grabbed article was first published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldgreynews.com\/details\/175498\/halyna-hutchins-next-project-was-documentary-on-hollywood-pedophile-rings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Grey News<\/a>, a self-proclaimed \u201cprank news website.\u201d The site\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldgreynews.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">About<\/a>\u201d page explains the \u201cpurpose of this website is fun.
