Even if they are not, treat them as if they are,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-actor-alec-baldwin-discharges-prop-gun-on-movie-set-killing-one-injuring-another-authorities-say\">shot and killed<\/a> Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza on Thursday while working on the set of \u201cRust,\u201d a western film which Baldwin is co-producing and staring in, at Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico. Baldwin was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/baldwin-was-practicing-pointing-revolver-at-camera-during-fatal-mishap-report\">rehearsing<\/a> a scene in which he points a gun at a camera when the firearm unexpectedly discharged, according to a police affidavit.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Lake, a former filmmaker and former member of the U.S. National Shooting Team, said that Baldwin bears the blame for the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe buck stops with Alec Baldwin on every level,\u201d Lake said. \u201cIt looks very bad for him. At least the captain of the Titanic had the good sense to go down with the ship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin could be in legal trouble over the shooting, but how much is up for debate and may rely on facts about the incident yet to be uncovered.
