Thomas marked the milestone Thursday during a symposium hosted by the Heritage Foundation, where an annual award named after him is given every October.<\/p>\n<p>The 73-year-old thanked his family and colleagues, but said if anyone deserves credit it\u2019s former President George H.W. Bush who nominated him.
