at an event in Rhode Island in 2019.&nbsp; (We don\u2019t know if she was paid by ES&amp;S or employed by them or not.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-660190\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Lynn-Garland-ESS.jpg\" alt width=\"619\" height=\"385\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But it gets worse.&nbsp; The above document showing Ms. Garland\u2019s connection with ES&amp;S was found in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/116\/meeting\/house\/110768\/witnesses\/HHRG-116-JU00-Wstate-PrezM-20200603-SD003.pdf\">support documents<\/a> for Biden\u2019s choice for Circuit Court Judge, Myrna Perez.&nbsp; Both Garland and Perez are members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/electionverification.org\/our-story\/\">Election Verification Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Perez is an extreme partisan advocate, and wrote a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollcall.com\/2021\/07\/14\/myrna-perez-senate-confirmation-hearing\/\">biased article about elections<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"13\">\n<p>Myrna P\u00e9rez had to deal with a wild card ahead of her Senate confirmation hearing Wednesday to be a federal appeals court judge, when an article she wrote in May as a voting rights advocate was published with a headline that a top Republican called \u201can insult to half of this committee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e9rez told the committee she didn\u2019t write the Sojourners headline, \u201cThe GOP Campaign to Make Elections Less Free.\u201d She didn\u2019t approve it before the article was posted Tuesday. And she didn\u2019t mention political parties in the article.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ms. Perez also worked for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brennancenter.org\/sites\/default\/files\/legal-work\/2014-09-09%20-%20Trial%20Transcript%20-%20Day%206.pdf\">Brennan Center for Justice<\/a>.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/bench-memos\/brennan-center-judicial-nominee-benefits-from-democrats-dark-money-double-standard\/\">National Review had this to say<\/a> about Perez and the Brennan Center:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"26.36420722135\">\n<p>The Brennan Center is not required to disclose its donors. It has extensive ties to other liberal dark-money groups, in addition to being one itself. Its largest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/william-j-brennan-center-for-justice\/\">source of funding<\/a>&nbsp;has been George Soros\u2019 Open Society Foundations, with millions more coming from the Tides Foundation. It claims to be nonpartisan while embracing a distinctly left-wing agenda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA major focus of the organization has been advocating for less freedom of speech in connection with elections while simultaneously attacking the most basic measures to ensure the integrity of elections. That includes any and all voter-ID measures, as well as efforts to update voter rolls. As director of the center\u2019s Voting Rights and Election Program, P\u00e9rez has been at the forefront of the Brennan Center\u2019s efforts in this regard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cP\u00e9rez is one of the most blatant examples we have seen of Biden\u2019s dark-money payback scheme, the nomination of judges who he knows will deliver via the courts the policy outcomes that the Left desires. She is not the only Brennan Center alumna to be nominated to a circuit judgeship.
