Tim Walz (D) announced a vaccine incentive program for teens called \u201cKids Deserve a Shot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Democrat announced the program recently for all Minnesota residents ages 12-to-17, giving them the chance to win hundreds of dollars in gift cards and up to $100,000 in scholarships if they are fully vaccinated. Teens who complete their two-dose vaccine series between Oct. 18 and Nov. 30 will be eligible.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Starting today, Minnesota teens can get $200 and enter to win a $100,000 college scholarship just for getting their shot!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to schools across the state, like Gordon Parks High School, that are helping make vaccines accessible for their students. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0JR1BfBUlI\">pic.twitter.com\/0JR1BfBUlI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Governor Tim Walz (@GovTimWalz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovTimWalz\/status\/1450216865389846540?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 18, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cKeeping our kids in school, keeping them doing the activities that are helping. So, we\u2019re here today to know that one of the big pieces of that is getting kids vaccinated,\u201d said Walz.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Rep.
