Maya was last seen in the home before going missing on Jan. 7 of this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to Stephan, the circumstantial evidence found based on an extensive nine-month investigation alleges Maya was killed by her husband after seeking a divorce. The DA added Larry, who was opposed to the divorce, began resorting to spell casting. She stressed she had never had a case before where that was involved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese spell casters would be asked to make May [Maya] want to stay in the relationship, but as December of 2020 came, those messages to spell casters were a lot more threatening. He was asking for May to become incapacitated, for May to be in an accident, to have broken bones so that she could stay at home,\u201d said Stephan. \u201cThus displaying his homicidal ideations to harm May.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">SkyRanger 7 is over Chula Vista following the arrest of Larry Millete, who police said was arrested for the murder of his wife Maya Millete.<\/p>\n<p>The San Diego County mother was first reported missing in January, sparking numerous volunteer search efforts.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CoFQ0lD0RG\">https:\/\/t.co\/CoFQ0lD0RG<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vCQdXqQ515\">pic.twitter.com\/vCQdXqQ515<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NBC 7 San Diego (@nbcsandiego) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nbcsandiego\/status\/1450552041617690624?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 19, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Officials said on the day of Maya\u2019s disappearance, Larry is believed to have left their home for more than 11 hours bringing along the couple\u2019s youngest to dump Maya\u2019s body. However, authorities have been unable to narrow down a search area because Larry left his phone at home that day.<\/p>\n<p>Stephan acknowledged there are going to be several questions about the prosecution due to the fact that Maya\u2019s body is still missing. But, asserted they have enough circumstantial evidence to prove Larry killed his wife.<\/p>\n<p>Pleading with the public during Tuesday\u2019s conference, Maya\u2019s sister asked anyone with information to help bring her sister back home to finally rest.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, investigators are asking anyone who may have seen a black GS-460 Lexus with the license plate \u201cMEILANI\u201d pulled to the side of the road the day of Maya\u2019s disappearance to contact police.
