During an exclusive interview with Breitbart, the Republican said he won\u2019t back down to the federal government or giant corporations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPart of the governors\u2019 job is to ensure the freedoms that are guaranteed by the Constitution and the laws of our constituents are going to be protected,\u201d he stated. \u201cSo I had to stand up and protect those freedoms of people not having their bodies basically invaded by a vaccine that they do not want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With an executive order implemented early fall, the Lone Star State governor banned any entity in Texas from mandating vaccine mandates for COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main goal and one of the catalyst behind my action was to ensure that people would not be losing their jobs,\u201d explained the governor. \u201cLet me be very clear about this, neither the President of the United States nor the federal government have any legal authority, any Constitutional authority, to issue their vaccine mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden&#8217;s vaccine mandate is unconstitutional.
