According to a&nbsp;<em>Post&nbsp;<\/em>analysis of flight records, around 2,000 migrants detained in Texas have been flown to the airport on 21 flights since Aug. 8.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the passengers &#8220;appeared to be children and teens,&#8221; according to the&nbsp;<em>Post<\/em>, but a few appeared to be men in their 20s. Some of the migrants were dropped off to meet sponsors in New Jersey, and others were bused to a residential facility on Long Island.<\/p>\n<p>The White House told the <em>Post&nbsp;<\/em>that the flights only transport child and teen migrants.<\/p>\n<p>Border crossings by unaccompanied minors have surged this year since the Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/5950832\/unaccompanied-minors-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspended<\/a> summary expulsions of unaccompanied children. The United States <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/fact-tank\/2021\/08\/13\/migrant-encounters-at-u-s-mexico-border-are-at-a-21-year-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">saw<\/a> encounters with illegal immigrants at the Mexican border reach a 21-year high this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/memo-biden-admin-weighing-plans-to-send-migrants-to-vermont\/\">reported<\/a> this month that the Department of Homeland Security is weighing plans to fly migrants to Vermont for processing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Biden administration is transporting underage migrants from the border on night flights to a suburban New York airport, according to a report from the New York Post.
