The title of the track, which went viral on TikTok, is a reference to a televised interview earlier this month between NASCAR driver Brandon Brown and NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast. During the interview, NASCAR fans can be heard chanting, &#8220;F\u2014 Joe Biden.&#8221; Stavast, in an apparent attempt at damage control, said the fans were cheering, &#8220;Let&#8217;s go Brandon!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The phrase is now a popular stand-in for the &#8220;f\u2014 Joe Biden&#8221; chants that in recent weeks have erupted in sports venues across the country. In one notable example, New York Jets fans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/f-joe-biden-chant-breaks-out-new-york-jets-nfl-game-1635185\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chanted<\/a> the anti-Biden slogan during their team&#8217;s Oct. 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The Jets would go on to secure their only win thus far this season.<\/p>\n<p>In the song, Alexander references the viral interview clip, saying, &#8220;Tried to cover up, but tell the people, \u2018Go Brandon.&#8217; But we know what they saying, though. You can hear th\u0435 chant in every post.&#8221; The artist also takes aim at the president, rapping, &#8220;Don&#8217;t nobody want this commie \u2018caus\u0435 we not in China.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The song&#8217;s surge on the iTunes charts has coincided with Biden&#8217;s recent drop in approval rating.
