Ron DeSantis (R) has taken aim at the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S. economy and coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, DeSantis derided Joe Biden\u2019s energy polices, warning he\u2019s veering away from making America energy independent. The Florida Republican said under President Donald Trump, America had a strong energy sector. But now, DeSantis said Biden is begging international organizations to lower the price of oil.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis also reaffirmed he would not back down in his fight against the Biden administration\u2019s vaccine mandates. He claimed Biden\u2019s mandate, particularly the provisions forcing Medicaid and Medicare-linked hospitals and employers of more than 100 people to jab their staff, is illegal and unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Attempting to impose an unconstitutional mandate on the American people that will cause people to lose their jobs and will leave key industries shorthanded is divisive. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tNLMSrv0aG\">pic.twitter.com\/tNLMSrv0aG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ron DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovRonDeSantis\/status\/1449102876702298117?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 15, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added the mandate would likely affect most of Florida\u2019s health care system and prompt mass walkouts and shortages to the health sector. DeSantis went on to tout Florida\u2019s handling of the virus, stressing the Sunshine State is at a 52-day low in statistics across the board.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, DeSantis fired back at Biden for espousing lawmakers taking similar stances against mandates as divisive, however, DeSantis says Biden is the divisive one.<\/p>\n<p>Gov.
