(AP Photo\/Andrew Harnik)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 11:13 AM PT \u2013 Thursday, October 14, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she\u2019s \u201cvery disappointed\u201d Democrats are not going ahead with the proposed $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill. During a press conference this week, she claimed the spending package would have been very transformative, but insisted it will still lead to extensive reform.<\/p>\n<p>Those comments came after Pelosi told colleagues Monday, fellow members of the Democrat caucus have been advising her to \u201cdo fewer things well\u201d in regard to the reconciliation bill. The California lawmaker did not disclose a specific figure Democrats will seek to reduce the bill too.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cWell, let me just say that at $3.5 trillion, we were doing everything well,\u201d Pelosi&nbsp; stated, \u201cSo not a question of now we\u2019re doing it well because it\u2019s less money.
