U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price described the talks as \u201ccandid and professional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Price said the U.S. would not just accept the Taliban\u2019s word. Instead, they would need to prove their intentions with their actions. Officials reportedly held talks regarding security, safe passage and human rights, while discussions also ensued on the topic of women in Afghanistan\u2019s society.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A U.S. interagency delegation traveled to Qatar to meet with senior Taliban representatives from Kabul and discussed issues of vital national interest.
