(Photo by Sean Rayford\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 12:03 PM PT \u2013 Saturday, October 9, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/coronavirus-covid-19\/press-release\/most-unvaccinated-adults-dont-believe-the-vaccines-are-very-effective-and-see-the-vaccines-as-a-greater-health-risk-than-covid-19-itself\/\">recent poll<\/a> suggests the majority of unvaccinated Americans say they will not get the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>A recent survey asked U.S. adults to describe their personal situation regarding COVID-19 vaccines and a quarter of those surveyed, voiced hesitancy. Of those unvaccinated, 60 percent said they would not be getting inoculated and only 15 percent said they plan on getting the jab.<\/p>\n<p>The poll also asked participants why they\u2019re skeptical of getting the shot with 40 percent saying they just don\u2019t trust the vaccine. Although 64 percent confirmed they\u2019re fully vaccinated, the survey suggested those who aren\u2019t won\u2019t be easily persuaded to get the shot regardless of any mandate.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the percentage of Americans who have refused to get vaccinated has for the most part remained unchanged.
