In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/10\/08\/statement-of-president-joe-biden-on-signing-havana-act-into-law\/\">statement<\/a> on Friday, the White House said the bipartisan bill would help ensure the most was done to provide for U.S. government personnel who have experienced these abnormal health incidents.<\/p>\n<p>The White House said many have been struggling with debilitating brain injuries that have curtailed their careers of service to the U.S. It added addressing these incidents was a top priority for the administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are bringing to bear the full resources of the U.S. Government to make available first-class medical care to those affected and to get to the bottom of these incidents, including to determine the cause and who is responsible,\u201d Joe Biden explained.&nbsp; \u201cProtecting Americans and all those who serve our country is our first duty, and we will do everything we can to care for our personnel and their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BREAKING?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BREAKING<\/a>: The HAVANA Act\u2014legislation I authored to support American personnel who have incurred brain injuries likely from directed energy attacks\u2014is now law.
