Joe Manchin (W.Va.) condemned Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) for insulting GOP senators. Manchin covered his face in disgust and walked out on Thursday after a key procedural vote on suspending the debt limit.<\/p>\n<p>Schumer cast blame on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and GOP senators, saying he\u2019s glad their brinkmanship didn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe solution is for Republicans to either join us in raising the debt limit, or stay out of the way and let Democrats address the debt limit ourselves,\u201d Schumer said in his speech.<\/p>\n<p>After walking out, Manchin told reporters he didn\u2019t think Schumer\u2019s speech was appropriate and called for both Democrats and Republicans to de-weaponize and to stop playing politics. He added he didn\u2019t find Schumer\u2019s comments appropriate at this time.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">VIRAL MOMENT: Last night after the debt ceiling was extended, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) slammed Republicans on the Senate floor, and behind him, Sen.
