Biden said, \u201cThis I always get a kick out of.\u201d He leaned forward and whispered into the mic, \u201cFox News. Fox News requires vaccinations for all their employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was too much for CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale, who tweeted, \u201cThis isn\u2019t true. Fox News doesn\u2019t \u2018require vaccinations for all employees.\u2019 Rather, Fox Corp. said in September that it would require unvaccinated employees to submit to daily testing. It doesn\u2019t dismiss them for refusing to get vaccinated.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"9.6295081967213\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This isn&#8217;t true. But &#8220;Fox News requires vaccinations for all their employees&#8221; is false.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Daniel Dale (@ddale8) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ddale8\/status\/1446211819614441474?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 7, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s penchant for lying has a long history. <a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/dc3f8ad4-7aa6-43f0-b4d8-f36863883a1b\/v\">The Hill<\/a> noted in an op-ed in May 2020:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"15.072056239016\">\n<p><em>A video is making the rounds in which Biden boasts at a 1987 rally, \u201cI went to law school on a full academic scholarship\u2026[and] ended up in the top half of my class.\u201d Biden also maintained that he \u201cgraduated with three degrees from undergraduate school\u201d and was the \u201coutstanding student in the political science department.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politifact.com\/article\/2020\/may\/07\/ad-watch-fact-checking-video-about-bidens-academic\/\">Not one of those claims was true,<\/a>&nbsp;as newscasters at the time affirmed. In fact, Biden graduated 76th of 85 students in his law school class, had only a partial scholarship and did not win top honors in his undergraduate discipline.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/as-he-campaigns-for-president-joe-biden-tells-a-moving-but-false-war-story\/2019\/08\/29\/b5159676-c9aa-11e9-a1fe-ca46e8d573c0_story.html\">The Washington Post<\/a> referenced Biden\u2019s story in 2019 in which he bragged that a four-star general had asked him when he was vice president to travel to Konar province in Afghanistan to honor the courage of a Navy captain and Biden had dismissed concerns about the safety of such a trip.<\/p>\n<p>Biden boasted that he had said, \u201cWe can lose a vice president. We can\u2019t lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Post continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"18\">\n<p><em>The Navy captain, Biden recalled Friday night, had rappelled down a 60-foot ravine under fire and retrieved the body of an American comrade, carrying him on his back. Now the general wanted Biden to pin a Silver Star on the American hero who, despite his bravery, felt like a failure. \u201cHe said, \u2018Sir, I don\u2019t want the damn thing!\u2019&nbsp;\u201d Biden said, his jaw clenched and his voice rising to a shout. \u201c\u2018Do not pin it on me, Sir! Please, Sir. Do not do that! He died. He died!\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden told his audience, \u201cThis is the God\u2019s truth. My word as a Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Post commented:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p><em>Except almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect.
