In a letter to Biden on Monday, McConnell warned Democrats were \u201csleepwalking\u201d toward unavoidable danger because of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer\u2019s (D-N.Y.) months of inaction.<\/p>\n<p>Schumer had the power to use reconciliation regarding the progress and Democrats didn\u2019t need Republicans to act. McConnell said Republicans had no set of demands, but simply to maintain Democrats must handle the debt limit since they didn\u2019t want to govern alone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, I did get a letter. I got it 10 minutes before I walked into here. I\u2019ve read it.
