The bipartisan bill&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/10\/senate-passes-infrastructure-package-dozen-republicans-join-dems-kyrsten-sinema-rob-portman-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">passed<\/a> the Senate with a 69-30 vote on Aug. 10.<\/p>\n<p>The House passed the extension of the bill Friday night amid the ongoing disagreements among Democratic representatives regarding the possibility of changing the budget, Pelosi wrote in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNegotiations will continue now, with more time for decisions, legislative language, Senate parliamentarian review and public awareness,\u201d she wrote. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/27\/nancy-pelosi-delays-critical-infrastructure-vote-bills-fate-jeopardy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: Pelosi Delays Critical Infrastructure Vote As Bill\u2019s Fate Remains In Jeopardy)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Speaker said although the Surface Transportation Authorization Deadline is set for Oct. 31, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework (BIF) must be voted on and passed before that time in order to create job opportunities. The Progressive wing threatened to disrupt the infrastructure bill\u2019s passage if the $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation fails to pass, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/575027-pelosi-sets-end-of-october-deadline-for-infrastructure-vote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the Hill.<\/p>\n<p>This past week, House Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/30\/infrastructure-vote-delayed-talks-stall-left-wing-vow-sink-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">delayed<\/a> an infrastructure vote, with many members of the House Progressive Caucus vowing that they would not support the bill. Pelosi has admitted that the bill will fail without the far-left\u2019s support.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, a major skeptic of the $3.5 reconciliation budget, advised his colleagues to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/02\/joe-manchin-democrats-pause-3-5-trillion-budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hit the pause button<\/a>\u201d on the sweeping legislation due to the overwhelming issues Congress is currently facing during a Sept. 2 Chamber of Commerce meeting. The moderate Democrat has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2021\/09\/12\/manchin-senate-spending-agenda-511482\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vowed<\/a> not to support the price tag of the legislation, suggesting that he may support a package in the price range of $1-1.5 trillion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/15\/joe-biden-meeting-kyrsten-cinema-joe-manchin-reconciliation-package\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">President Joe Biden<\/a> has strived to ease the tensions in his own party on the budget reconciliation in recent days by inviting Manchin and Democratic Arizona Sen. Krysten Sinema to the White House to discuss their disagreements with the legislation.
