(Graeme Jennings\/Pool\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>However, the language on \u201cdiversity and inclusion efforts\u201d in the bill approved by the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday wasn\u2019t included in last year\u2019s version of the IAA.<\/p>\n<p>The ODNI has also published multiple diversity reports, and its most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dni.gov\/files\/EEOD\/documents\/IC_Annual_Demographic_Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report<\/a> highlights&nbsp;the improving diversity efforts within the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/27\/element-intelligence-community-assessed-covid-lab-leak\/\">intelligence community<\/a>. A January 2017 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dni.gov\/files\/documents\/Newsroom\/IC_EEOD_Barriers_Analysis.pdf\">report<\/a> from the ODNI \u2014 ordered by the Intelligence Community Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity office \u2013 contained 36 findings and recommendations for how the intelligence community could improve its diversity efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAcross all grade levels, the need for a more diverse and inclusive (intelligence community) workforce was viewed as imperative, while at the same time, disappointment was expressed that the issues of bringing a more diverse workforce together in the (intelligence community) were still pervasive,\u201d the 2017 report stated.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
