While receiving his third dose, he sat in front of a backdrop located in the South Court Auditorium in the White House complex that has been used for previous events.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Biden received his third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine on-camera Sept. 27, <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/biden-covid-19-booster-shot-cameras-pushes-vaccinations\/story?id=80259817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ABC News<\/a> reported. His third jab came several days after the Food and Drug Administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/news-events\/press-announcements\/fda-authorizes-booster-dose-pfizer-biontech-covid-19-vaccine-certain-populations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">authorized<\/a> booster shots of&nbsp; the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for certain groups of people, including those aged 65 and older and those at high risk of severe illness.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CUbWjPotsSq\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=382fd25b-1af8-4f42-ba37-18a7169f02ab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">viral Instagram post<\/a> attempts to suggest Biden faked receiving his booster shot, pointing to a photo of him in front of a backdrop on what looks like a stage. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/06\/24\/fact-check-joe-biden-fake-white-house-movie-set\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: No, This Image Does Not Show Joe Biden On A Fake White House Movie Set)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Video footage and photos show Biden did receive a third COVID-19 vaccine dose. For instance, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/uckuesepbqu-123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Times<\/a> published a video on its website in which viewers can see the needle enter his arm. Photos available on Getty Images also depict the needle before it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-receives-a-third-dose-of-the-pfizer-news-photo\/1343310021?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">goes<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-receives-a-third-dose-of-the-pfizer-news-photo\/1343313230\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">into<\/a> the president\u2019s arm and as it is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-receives-a-third-dose-of-the-pfizer-news-photo\/1343316427\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">inside<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-receives-a-booster-vaccination-shot-for-news-photo\/1235540325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his arm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Biden received the booster shot in the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/factba.se\/biden\/calendar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his public schedule<\/a> for Sept. 27 available on Factba.se. Media outlets such as <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/biden-covid-19-booster-shot-cameras-pushes-vaccinations\/story?id=80259817\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ABC News<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/WAT2s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Associated Press<\/a> also reported that it took place at the South Court Auditorium in the White House complex. The White House press office confirmed that in an email to Check Your Fact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President received his COVID-19 booster shot in the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with members of the press present, as depicted in that photo and reported by numerous outlets,\u201d the White House press office said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-departs-after-receiving-a-booster-shot-news-photo\/1235540268\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Some<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-rolls-his-sleeve-to-receive-a-third-news-photo\/1235540356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">photos<\/a> of the booster shot event do show Biden sitting in front of what appears to be a constructed backdrop that includes windows with imagery of the White House grounds.
