Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/GettyImages-1233163381.jpg?w=1200&amp;h=800&amp;ixlib=react-9.3.0\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Following the release of a report on the 2020 election audit in Maricopa County, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has demanded a freeze on all election-related materials as the office preps for litigation and further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The Arizona Attorney General\u2019s Office Election Integrity Unit&nbsp;(EIU) on Monday sent a letter to the Arizona Senate \u201crequesting supporting documents from the report released last week,\u201d a press release <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azag.gov\/press-release\/attorney-general-mark-brnovich-requests-additional-information-2020-general-election\">detailed<\/a>. \u201cAdditionally, the EIU asked Maricopa County to preserve all documents and data related to the 2020 election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Arizona Senate\u2019s report that was released on Friday raises some serious questions regarding the 2020 election,\u201d AG Brnovich said in a statement posted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azag.gov\/press-release\/attorney-general-mark-brnovich-requests-additional-information-2020-general-election\">Attorney General\u2019s office website<\/a>.&nbsp;\u201cArizonans can be assured our office will conduct a thorough review of the information we receive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright said in a letter to the county that the office expects \u201cfurther investigation or litigation,\u201d following a review of the audit report, which was released last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn light of our review, as well as the expectation the review may lead to further investigation or litigation, this letter is to provide notice to Maricopa County that a litigation hold should be in effect regarding all potentially relevant materials related to the 2020 General Election, as well as potentially relevant materials related to the 2020 Primary Election and 2020 Presidential Preference Election (combined referred to as \u20182020 Statewide Elections\u2019),\u201d the letter said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWright lists some of the items to be preserved, including all of the ballots and envelopes as well as logs that the county refused to turn over to the auditors,\u201d The Star News Network <a href=\"https:\/\/thestarnewsnetwork.com\/2021\/09\/29\/brnovich-demands-maricopa-county-freeze-all-materials-related-to-2020-election\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A draft report of the 2020 election review in Maricopa County \u201cconfirms the county\u2019s canvass of the 2020 General Election was accurate and the candidates certified as the winners did, in fact, win,\u201d county officials said announced this week.<\/p>\n<p>The report suggested, however, that ballots were mishandled or even deleted \u2014 allegations that Maricopa County denies.
