Fox-obtained documents showing Roberta Laundrie, Brian\u2019s mother, did indeed check into the Florida park.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/brian-laundrie-manhunt-florida-park-documents-gabby-petito-camping\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"17\">\n<p><em>Duane \u201cDog\u201d Chapman, also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, announced Saturday he was entering the search for Laundrie, and tips quickly poured in. He told Fox News he learned Monday that Laundrie\u2019s parents spent the night in Fort De Soto Park with their son twice in early September from Sept. 1 to 3 and Sept. 6 to 8.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The documents confirm Chapman\u2019s suspicion that the Laundries went camping at the Fort De Soto Park outside St. Petersburg between his return from out West on Sept. 1 and the day Petito\u2019s mother reported her missing, Sept. 11. They show the family checked in on Sept. 6 and out on Sept. 8 \u2013 but there\u2019s no record on the document of them the week prior. \u2026 The documents show the checkout was actually recorded on Sept. 8 \u2013 three days before Petito officially became a missing person.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino initially said the claims from Chapman are false.&nbsp;\u201cI will no longer give that dog credibility or dignify his false claims with the time of my reply,\u201d said Bertolino.<\/p>\n<p>However, Fox noted that the attorney later told local media that \u201cthe family camped out on Sept. 6 and 7 and that \u2018they all left the park.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chapman has publicly questioned why the Laundrie family went for a camping retreat while Petitio, who lived with the family and was set to marry Brian, was missing.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, a neighbor of the Laundrie family <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/brian-laundrie-neighbor-gabby-petito-homicide\">told<\/a> Fox News Digital that the family was acting suspiciously \u201cnormal\u201d while Petitio was missing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really upset now because \u2026 [the Laundries] should have absolutely come forward now,\u201d Charlene Guthrie said.&nbsp;\u201cI mean, I just \u2026 can\u2019t believe they didn\u2019t do something. I\u2019m really angry now that they \u2026 let this go. And that everything was so natural and they remained so normal through the whole thing, you know, while they were here, till he went on the run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe mowed the lawn,\u201d the neighbor recalled. \u201cHim and his mother went for a bicycle ride around the block. I mean, everything was just normal life once he came back. And I just can\u2019t get over the fact that they \u2014 it seemed like nothing bothered him. How can you do that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Guthrie added that \u201cLaundrie\u2019s disappearance in September look \u2018really, really bad for him,\u2019 adding that his parents should have spoken up,\u201d Fox News Digital reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have children, and I know that you do what you can to protect your child, but, you know, that can go so far, and you gotta do the right thing eventually. You have to,\u201d the neighbor asserted.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, while the search for Petito intensified, Laundrie went missing. &nbsp;The 23-year-old was named a \u201cperson of interest\u201d in the case and his family home was raided by the FBI and reportedly declared a \u201ccrime scene.\u201d An arrest warrant was issued for Laundrie on Sept. 23.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
