Walsh, however, found a workaround by leasing a property in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Walsh, who has tremendous support from parents, went viral last month when he spoke out against radical gender initiatives at a school board meeting in <span class=\"gb-sitename\">Loudoun County. <\/span><span class=\"gb-sitename\">Walsh posted earlier this month that the district has \u201cimposed a radical trans policy allowing males access to girls restrooms and teams,\u201d adding that \u201cteachers are required to use preferred pronouns.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Apparently attempting to avoid such a public spectacle of push-back, the county recently introduced \u201csome changes for public participation in the September 28, 2021, meeting of the Loudoun County School Board.\u201d A portion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lcps.org\/Page\/223425\">press release<\/a> states:<\/p>\n<p><em>Those wishing to speak to the School Board must provide proof that they meet these criteria. The following means of identification will be accepted:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>A valid Virginia driver\u2019s license indicating Loudoun County residency;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>A utility bill from 2021 with the resident\u2019s name and a Loudoun County address;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>A mortgage or rental lease agreement displaying the resident\u2019s name and current street address of residency or business;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>A current Employee ID or Student ID;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>An email or letter from Loudoun County Public Schools to the parent from the 2021-22 school year regarding a currently enrolled LCPS student.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>A student report card or progress report<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"css-1dbjc4n\" readability=\"11\">\n<div class=\"css-1dbjc4n r-1s2bzr4\" readability=\"17\">\n<p id=\"id__abnred8am9b\" class=\"css-901oao r-18jsvk2 r-37j5jr r-1blvdjr r-16dba41 r-vrz42v r-bcqeeo r-bnwqim r-qvutc0\" dir=\"auto\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cLoudoun County changed the rules so that only residents can speak at the school board,\u201d Walsh said Friday via Twitter. \u201c<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">In unrelated news, I\u2019m proud to announce that I am now a resident of Loudoun County. Just rented a home in the area. I\u2019ll have the lease agreement. To the detractors, though, Walsh has a message: your criticism is phony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLots of people on the Left are telling me that I shouldn\u2019t inject myself into controversies in Loudoun County because I\u2019m an outsider,\u201d Walsh posted to Twitter. \u201cFunny. You never hear them say that about outsiders protesting abortion laws in Texas.
