Andy Biggs, are introducing a bill Friday that would prohibit federal agencies from implementing vaccine mandates.<\/p>\n<p>Biggs\u2019 bill takes aim at President Joe Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/09\/joe-biden-require-private-companies-100-more-employees-mandate-vaccines-weekly-testing-coronavirus\/\">instructions<\/a> to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to publish an emergency temporary standard that would require all business with more than 100 employees to ensure their employees are vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19. Although the rule has not yet been published, multiple Republican governors and state attorneys general have <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/17\/republican-states-fighting-back-against-bidens-vaccine-mandate\/\">declared<\/a> their intention to file lawsuits against it. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/14\/joe-biden-coronavirus-vaccine-mandate-arizona-mark-brnovich\/\"><strong>(RELATED: Arizona Becomes First State To Sue Biden Over Vaccine Mandates)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Biden also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/09\/biden-white-house-federal-workers-contractors-vaccine-mandate-coronavirus-pandemic\/\">announced<\/a> that he would tighten vaccine requirements for federal employees and contractors.<\/p>\n<p>The bill, dubbed the \u201cFreedom from Mandates Act,\u201d overturns Biden\u2019s executive orders mandating vaccines for federal employees and contractors. It prohibits the Secretary of Labor from issuing a rule requiring COVID-19 vaccines or tests for private employees. President Biden\u2019s continued attempts to trample on the rights and liberties of Americans must not be tolerated. His vaccine mandates are just another example of using fear and division to pit Americans against each other and maintain his control. The American people must be allowed to make their own health care decisions. It is their right,\u201d Biggs told the Daily Caller.<\/p>\n<p>The conservative advocacy organization FreedomWorks is also supporting the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn our system of government the Congress, not the executive, writes our laws.
