Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found the same picture in an article from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/india-news\/india-russia-agree-to-coordinate-on-afghan-settlement-regional-peace-101631095254711.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hindustan Times<\/a> and in a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ANI\/status\/1435479322442276864?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1435479322442276864%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.boomlive.in%2Ffact-check%2Fpolitics%2Ffake-news-viral-photo-top-five-intelligence-agency-high-level-meeting-in-delhi-raw-mossad-cia-kgb-mi6-nsa-factcheck-14796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweet<\/a> shared by Asian News International\u2019s (ANI) verified Twitter account. Both sources state the photo shows national security advisors from India and Russia meeting on Sept. 8.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"6.5506329113924\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Delhi: A delegation-level talk of National Security Advisors (NSA) between India &amp; Russia underway <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9EKUQPfnT5\">pic.twitter.com\/9EKUQPfnT5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ANI (@ANI) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ANI\/status\/1435479322442276864?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 8, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDelhi: A delegation-level talk of National Security Advisors (NSA) between India &amp; Russia underway,\u201d reads the caption of the tweet from ANI.<\/p>\n<p>The article from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/india-news\/india-russia-agree-to-coordinate-on-afghan-settlement-regional-peace-101631095254711.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hindustan Times<\/a> explains the meeting, led by Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/05\/24\/joint-statement-on-national-security-advisor-jake-sullivans-meeting-with-russian-security-council-secretary-nikolay-patrushev\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikolay Patrushev<\/a>, focused on the Taliban\u2019s takeover of Afghanistan. It was held in New Delhi, India, the outlet reported. This account matches a report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/india\/india-russia-security-chiefs-say-taliban-must-keep-promises-source-2021-09-08\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reuters<\/a> about the Sept. 8 meeting.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that the KGB, which the Twitter post mentions, was dissolved in 1991, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/russia\/kgb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">History.com<\/a>.
