Heinz is the heiress to the food processing company H.J. Heinz, and has an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.celebritynetworth.com\/richest-politicians\/democrats\/teresa-heinz-kerry-net-worth\/\">estimated<\/a> net worth of over $750 million.<\/p>\n<p>The OGE filing notes Kerry\u2019s wife is the beneficiary of the H.J. Heinz III Marital Trust. The Heinz family is also connected to President Joe Biden\u2019s son, Hunter Biden, and his business dealings with Chinese companies. Kerry\u2019s stepson, Christopher Heinz, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsgac.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/HSGAC_Finance_Report_FINAL.pdf\">co-founded<\/a> the firm Rosemont Seneca Partners with Hunter Biden in 2009.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7286940\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"34\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7286940\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry arrive for a State Dinner at the White House on March 14, 2012 (Brendan Hoffman\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/sec.report\/AdviserInfo\/Firms\/162895\/Form-ADV-162895.pdf\">filing<\/a> with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in March, Teng Yue Partners disclosed that 67% of its clients are \u201cnon-United States persons.\u201d The SEC filing also revealed 97% of the roughly $10.1 million managed by the hedge fund is from \u201cnon-United-States persons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The firm\u2019s founder and managing partner, Tao Li, is a Chinese national, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9885049\/John-Kerrys-wife-millions-dollars-Chinese-investments.html\">according<\/a> to the Daily Mail, which first reported the investments Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Teng Yue Partners\u2019 holdings <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcenta.com\/newsDet\/id-30\">include<\/a> the Chinese biotech company Transcenta, which was recently backed by two Chinese state-owned private equity firms. Teng Yue Partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/transcenta-closes-105-million-in-crossover-financing-301197487.html\">participated<\/a> in a $105 million financing project for the biotech company in Dec. 2020 with the state-owned China Structural Reform Fund and CCT China Merchants Fund, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmcapital.com.cn\/en\/Fund\/index.html\">subsidiary<\/a> of the state-owned China Merchants Group.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Painter, former chief White House ethics counsel for former President George W.
